We're looking for a high-performing engineering leader to manage and grow our engineering team as well as represent the engineering org on the management team. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help define and design software architecture to meet the needs of a complex and dynamic business
  • Manage, train and coach team of talented engineers
  • Be hands-on and help deliver feature requirements while the team grows
  • Maintain current knowledge on technology updates and trends, and use that knowledge to deliver value and guidance
  • Help take our strong engineering culture to the next level
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product & Analytics
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the company on the management team

  • Strong track record leading a high-performing engineering teams
  • 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams in an agile environment
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails or similar language/framework
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements
  • Prior role in a startup company
  • Previous experience working with outside vendors and API integrations
  • Strong leadership and management skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Master's Degree in a related area
